If you're seriously interested I can see if I can find a recycled one. If memory serves me right, wasn't it RichReg or Richwm who tried to sell his, but had a difficult time finding any takers?

well i have a 328i which probably wouldn't be a huge deal to overcome but possibly slightly more involved than a 325i. main problem for me personally is that im leased and wont know for about a year if im going to buy the car after the lease or not.
i just really like to see projects like these happen and am hoping that it will be more common and easy in about a year. so short answer no i cant call myself seriously interested but i hope someone else will step up to the plate and get this project to work, and think about it with Ks's help it cant be that hard |

Hmmm, haven't been keeping up with this thread lately. I got a 325i 6spd. I'd be willing to experiment but I'd like to know what I'd be getting into financially and mechanically. I don't want to be wothout a car for too long LOL. Like a lot of people here, I think this would be one of the best mods for 325i owners. Shoot me a pm if you want get something started.

hey guys
i think im gonna do this since i just got my headers put in, i have a CheckEngineLight. so my shop is getting me software thatll tell my ecu that there are no cats, so the light will be gone. i told my guy, that i want to reflash it as a 330 if im gonna get new software. the company i think is called ESF, and there 325 and 330 ecu tuning has an ETA of 3-4weeks. imma prob be the first ones to get it. hopefully this will all work out. it IS a lot of work, but since no one is doin it, ill prob go ahead and do this for all of us. i have a step however, but power is power. ill try for a dyno. but i first need to get my hands on a 3stage intake manifold and all its screws n parts needed for install. i can get the software stuff on my own, and were good. plz u guys, help me out on getting the intake manifold somwhere cheap and soon. thanks.

im not gonna say like 10-15hp gain. but u can feel it, and def. hear it.
throttle response is waaaay better, and overall acceleration feels faster. before when i wanted to floor the car, after i hit the pedal, it wud take a lil to kick up the RPMs, after the headers and highflow cats in, its hit the pedal, and voooooooooom. but none of this matters unless i get this 330 conversion!!! my boi at the shop was sayn, once i get a chip, especially if i cud somehow get 330 software, the car wud be ridiculously faster, cuz the chip will be tuned for with all the mods for max. performance. i dont know how to navigate on taht site u sent me for the manifold, is there an easier way? especially in the US or sumtn? if we can get all the parts and get it to work, ill do a writeup for everyone taht wants to do this conversion, with dynos for proof. but i appreciate all the help i can get thanks. can anyone find me taht post, its liek earlier in this thread, of all the parts required inlcuding the 3stageintakemanifold? there were like some specific screws and otehr parts i cant really rmr. i think they even had part numbers?

im still tryn to find here tryn to find a way to get a cheap 3stage manifold...
epiphone, i u cud somehow find one from that place at a good price lemmo kno by PM plz. i have a company tats tuning it for me, they just dont think puttn in a 3 stage intake manifold and reflashing it just like a 330 will work or sumtn... iono, isnt that all the other guy did, just reflashd it with 330 engine properties? but first i really need this manifold. thanks again. -faizan
