Ah, got ya. The manifold isn't coming with the actuator motors attached. From the photos I was sent, it doesn't look like the hardware is included.

Ok then you'll need the screws. You'll need these for sure
11617535849 x5 Screw 50x20
11617535850 x2 Screw 50x35
11617535851 x1 Screw 50x66

You should be able to reuse your old manifold screws as long as they're not aluminum or damaged.

hello there everyone, Im looking to do this mod myself, I drive an 09 LCI 328i with N51 engine and by reading tons of pages on this forum I have learned that my engine might already come with a 3 stage manifold installed! I verified with realoem website and by selecting 2009/328i/manufactured 06/09 it will indeed show its a 3 stage manifold with 2 disa valves. I could not believe this so I went outside to check the car myself, it does indeed have 2 disa valves on the intake!! Does it mean I have that 3 stage or not?
I cannot find a part number label on the car, but I'm asking everyone here: does 2 disa valves mean its a 3stage for sure?

Thank you!

Yes you already have the 3 stage intake manifold. All N51s are equipped with a 3 stage. Due to the lower compression compared with the N52, BMW used a the 3 stage intake manifold to make up loss in power.

Sorry to ask so late in the thread, but any recommendations on sites for buying the intake manifold?

I will likely consider getting the DISA Adjusters new..

06 325i here. I have an EC Stage 1 tune. But have been itching to get the ball rolling with this to get the Stage 2 tune.

car-part.com You can search for a N51 engine or from a Z4 Si engine

They were on the side of the old manifold held in place - shorter cord in the front, longer one in the rear.

From this picture that you posted

The cables for the DISA valve should be located on the left where your red circle ends you see those two little nibs that sticks out? There should be two wire harness connected to those nibs. You pull them off the manifold and you use the short for the front and long for the rear (closer to engine)

the one on the right looks like it you still need to remove the plastic cover. Not sure about the left

The DISA cables should have been connected to the old manifold. You should have had to remove them from the old manifold when you removed it. And as previously stated, they go to a junction box that connects to the bottom of the manifold.
