At firt I though it was just going to the nearest multiple of 5. But I know that I've had it go from 81 to 83 mph for example.
It is designed to go to the next 5 if you pull/push hard. i.e. if you are doing 52, a hard pusj will make it 55, and hard pull 50...

Is this with the 6fl or with the dealer installed iPod piece?

True. I also found out 40 mins away from home.

Although I did figure this out.... If you lock the doors with someone inside (ie..try to lock them in) all they have to do is...hit the unlock button in the middle of the seats on the dash (the doors do not unlock) then reach over and pull the driver's side door handle and it will open.....not like some have said, where you are locked in no matter what. I've done it a few times to confirm.

I hate the fact that when you unlock the trunk...the doors don't unlock also    .... just sets people up for locking themselves out of the car if the lock the keys in the trunk by accident....

I know.... Stupid question

Okay don't me, I only had my car for a few days in Europe but I have to ask. Since pushing the volume button now mutes the stereo instead of turning it off, how do you turn the damn thing off? Of course I could read the manual but I don't have my car yet...

Have you noticed that BMW engineers even thought to deactivate the wiper washer jets when the sunroof is open?

Really? I'd think if your sunroof is open and you manually press the washer button because you're splattered with a huge bug or something, that you'd want the window to get sprayed right away no matter what. I'd imagine a lot of people think something could be wrong with the car if the button doesn't work, not thinking about the sunroof!

What BMW engineers really need to do is figure out a way to stop morons in front of you from spraying their windshield for 10+ seconds straight, on a highway, so it allllll blows back on your car you just spend 2 hours detailing. And they all wonder why I turn on my high beams each time they keep spraying their windshield

Maybe you should back off... I do that to people who follow too close. Most people get the hint.

Bingo. I only get people crawling up my rear during traffic, when there are multiple cars in front of me causing the left lane to slow down. And then, I like to remind them gently not to ride my rear.

reminds me of my old junker SUV that the nozzle broke off on the rear windshield washer, and it would spray directly backwards about 6 feet, even at a dead stop... it was really fun to spray friends, and it was more fun to spray cops! (especially ones on motorcycles!)

That is not true. I spreaded the washer all over my front and back seats when I had the sunroof opened. I said damn it to myself.

Pushing start/stop button to turn off engine leaves radio on. Push again for full off.
Push and hold the button and it turns completely off.
Same for heated seats. If on full heat (3 bars) push and hold and it turns off.

E93: With CA, while standing outside the car with the top down, push and hold lock button on fob. The top will go up, the windows go up and the car locks. IN NORTH AMERICA/USA

I tried the key in trunk thing when I was selling my 330i. Yeah, I had to run upstairs and grab the spair. However the buyers got a laugh.

I thought they disabled this, and it only worked for top going down?

Also from how far away?

Thanks,
-Brett

I'm in the same boat with the same thought. I've only played with it for a few days during my ED, but had the same question about how to turn off the radio.

Sorry if this has been mentioned.

You cannot open the trunk lid if the car is in motion.
