Seeing threads about $3000 celling fans and "cheap" $50 sunglasses.

This is almost embarrassing...

For the past 7 months, I've been living with my girlfriend and sleeping in the same bed, awkwardly including the past 2 weeks post-breakup up until Sunday night... But since I snore, I've always had to sleep on my sides, whereas I've used to sleep on my back when I was single or when she wasn't over. However, now that she's gone and I have this nice King-size bed to myself again, I wake myself up when I snore

I have to go into the city today and with tip and tax parking will be over $50. All I have is a $50 bill in my wallet, so now I'll probably have to stop at an ATM which will charge me a surcharge of $2.50. I won't get that $2.50 reimbursed until my next statement on July 4. Then, I'll have to ask for a receipt and spend 15 min. doing an expense report so that's pretty much 15 min. of my life I'll never get back. it's so hard living in the USA.

It's supposed to rain today in the afternoon. At first I grabbed the BMW keys and walked out the door, then I sat down and started thinking. I ended up sitting in my car for a half hour this morning before I decided I wanted to take the motorcycle....

Why is this a first world problem you ask?

I have nowhere to put my McDonalds coffee on my motorcycle, so I had to get one from in town and ride with it between my legs, toasting my nut sack.

it's tough trying to predict the weather. The other day I was going to take my Nissan due to road repavement but chanced it with the 335. To my delight, the road had been repaved and was smooth as glass! But later that day it poured and the 335 got wet and the rain mixed with pollen and the car needed to be washed again. If it had stayed in the garage all of this never would have happened and the earth would not have stopped turning (I bet everyone here felt it)

Cable guy is coming today to set up cable internet. Now I have to clean my office downstairs. Ugh.

True story. When I had cable installed in our spare room I caught the guy sound asleep on the futon. When I offered him a blanket he claimed he was waiting on a call from his Supervisor to trouble shoot the installation.

I guessing your assistant also makes more than you? lol jk. But seriously, you mentioned 50k salary on that "my wife makes more than me" thread, how does a person with 50k afford an assistant?

Lol, I’m a staff accountant. She’s a 19 year old kid basically. Runs all my credit cards, prints my invoices, and does all my filing. Didn’t realize how much she did until today.

When you have some FOB from China that wants to start a business here with MY help, but sit in MY car and violate rules #1, 3, 4, 5 and 9 in the grand total of TWO HOURS in my car... Yes, the post was edited to include Pekinese Opera, douchebag bottle toss and farting; I even straight up called him out on it when I hear a rumble and the worst fart I've ever smelled in a long time; a combination of burnt sulfur and the scent of something crawled up his ass, died and badly decomposed. Are all people from China THIS disrespectful of other people's property??

Unfortunately, the answer to your question is yes. Had 1 douche put his shoe on the seat to tie it. Another time I went to pick up two friends (married couples) of my dad's to go visit him. They both went to sit in the back seat like I'm a freakin driver. I later found that they've placed some garbage (tissues etc) in the side compartments. Then there's the nose picker flicker, the BO, the light up a smoke and don't even attempt to open a window (I don't smoke in my car), and then there's that fucker that puts his feet everywhere. I have refrained from having mainland chinese as passengers and in general have also refrained from riding with them in any type of transportation. Call me racist.

Several problems here:

1. Dunkin Donuts coffee

2. Iced in the morning?

3. Sugar

Just sayin'.

I always heard that farting in public in China was totally fine, but coughing and sneezing in public are considered very rude.

Bought a brand new stainless steel Whirlpool Gold Series refrigerator. It came wrapped in a blue film to protect it in shipment. When we removed the film it left a glue residue on the steel. My wife used the scrubbing side of the sponge to remove the glue. Our 1 hour old fridge is already ruined.
