Hi, new to the forums here, but have been lurking for a while trying to get my Adaptive Headlights working again. Long story, I'll make a new thread with everything that I have been through over the last few months later today.
For now, I have a (hopefully) simple question. After replacing my FRM3 adding VIN, and recoding to factory, etc, I am left with a weird anomaly. When the door is open and the car is switch on, but not running, I am getting the warning message "Ignition switched on." I did not have that before. I assume I can turn this off? Does anyone know which module that code is stored in and the name of the setting? I have all the tools, INST-D, NCS Expert, Dummy, Tool32, WINKFP, with good datens. Thanks. |

I don't think you can, I know bimmercode has expert mode for F chassis but not sure about E chassis. Go into FRM module on bimmercode and check if there's an exert mode section. If not, then you're out of luck. You'll need ncs expert or protools

You can disable it using NCSExpert.

learning curve
Hello, new to the forum....understand I need to replay to something before I can do much so here it is. Picked up a 335d from auction a couple weeks ago. Potential disaster for sure. Spent a solid day working on getting software working to see what was going on with me car. Still dealing with everything being in German but i'm getting there.
More to come in the diesel section.... |

I replaced my battery and was going to register/code it using ISTA (Rheingold), but it say that "vehicle could not be identified" when I try to get information about vehicle.
I have INPA running successfully and showing Ignition ON when I try ISTA. I did switch to Ediabas profile in ISTA config options. What should I do to get ISTA/Rheingold working? Thanks! |
