as you know this color is very high maintenance. A couple cars ago, I had a black car and I told myself to never go back. But I couldn't resist.

Yeah, I hear ya on that one. I've only owned black cars in my life with the exception of 2...interestingly they're both BMW's
'84 528e and the current e92 were/are white.

But black looks oh so good when clean...

+1 on Black. They look the best when clean.

SG isn't too far off IMO. I get dust and spots all the time! Even my weekly washes don't really help. Usually 3 or 4 days after i wash it, it's pretty dirty.

my suggestion is to buy a quick detailer. spend 5 mins @ the end of the day, spray ur car. wipe off the dirt. the quik deatiler will maintain the shine and keep it looking like it was waxed. then wash every 2 weeks

I've noticed quite a few modded e90's around Ocean/CCSF area...but doubt they are on the forums. lightly modded stuff like tint, spoilers, no front plate.

WHEN is the key word which happens only once every few weeks.

There are quite a few driving around. Most drivers seem to personalize their vehicles someway or somehow.

Two of my boys just picked up 335i's. One just installed an Active Autowerks Xede and BOV. He just ordered his coilovers. When I go to the clubs I see a butt load of them all over the place.

Which ever floats your boat. Both are part of the same corporation.
