I could never (again) do tech support, I just get so pissed off by people asking stupid questions Before I graduated I used to work for this small IT company for their helpdesk and that was it for my customer support career...

They changed their password complexity rules and posted instructions on the screen where the system prompts to change the password, that it has to contain numbers, letters and special characters. I got 5 calls a day where people asked that why can't they change their password, it doesn't "accept anything". I usually asked the people to read me what it said on the screen (like if I didn't know). After they read the password rules to me, I asked that did they try a password complex enough. Surprisingly that solved all those problems. And the rules weren't like hidden into a lot of text, that was the only piece of text on the screen, less than 5 lines.

Stupid people pick up the phone before even reading the screen in front of them!
