It's been dry and spring-like daily for the past week or so. But up here in the foothills of the mountains the nights are chilly. We've had a couple of nights right at freezing, but mostly in the upper 30s.

Been similar here except air on during the day and heat on at night. Not all the time but on occasion. Soon, with the summers here, the air will be on a lot.

80s here Sunday until yesterday; today back to seasonal temps in mid-60s.

Plants, shrubs, and many species of trees have exploded over the past week with some trees already fully leafed-out and most others looking like they're only a week or two away from the same.

The beginning of the transition seems unusually swift this year, but we've only been down here since fall 2017 and don't really know yet the full variation of what's possible. So far, rain and all, it's been a terrific spring.

Just want it dry out...tired of all the extra work that's needed to clean the mud-like gunk from under the mowers deck!

Can't really complain. We had a couple of decent days which allowed me to work in my gardens after work since the sun sets after eight.The next few days appear promising.

We went out for a walk this morning. Sweatshirt, coat, hat, and gloves. 43F and windy. Last week we walked in short and sandals. Crazy mid-west Spring weather.

We've been on a roller-coaster ride today. Waves of storms rolling through, and now we've joined the temperature drop club. Twelve degree drop since 8am. Time to switch from a/c to heat.

Nice day today and some nice days ahead. Then some rain. It's been raining a little every week here and it saves me from having to do any watering, except for the porch plants. Soon that will change with the heat that's coming.

It's 32° out right now, and calm and clear. With a predicted high of 65°, it's going to be a nice day.

The morning commute was -3C (26F). The PS4S summer tires were fine when driving like a civilized person for a change.

A dreary day with lots of clouds but the temp isn't too bad; 67°F. Looks like it'll be this way all week. I'll take it.

Funny, as that's exactly what we had here today. The upside was I didn't need to turn the A/C on.

It's supposed to clear up by Thursday, though, but at this time of year we'll just have to see.

Some warmer temperatures coming with a bit of rain. This morning was another frosty one.

Definitely nice to see some green starting to sprout! The magnolia tree is almost ready to open up and the maples have tiny red leaves.
