well thats the thing..i cant get it to install the damn driver...the software that installs the driver never opens

oh go to the company's website and dl the latest drivers? maybe those ones aren't vista compatible.

yah, your router is being a pos with assigning dhcps. try changing the scope possibly.

btw i fixed my computer. Took out the battery and ran it through the powercord. Booted just fine, then reinstalled my battery. Freaking weird
