yes haha. half of the reason im justifying the price is because of the sound. Because you remove the airbox and this is a open filter, there is a LOT less sound deadning. This means that as you are boosting / spooling the turbos, the sound restriction is gone and you will hear the turbo whistling aka spooling as you build boost.

If you ever sat in a big single turbo car and heard the turbo spool, it is euphoric lmao.

terry has a video on n54tech of him driving around his neighborhood with the cone filters, they sound awesome. and for the 'dyno glory' benefits he believes its well worth the 120

yea, BOV will give you some of the spooling sound but with a VTA BOV, all you hear is the WHOOSH at the end when you let off boost.

With the filter, you are not hearing the boost vented, you are actually hearing the turbo spool up which makes a very addicting sucking sound (no homo)

btw johnson, i dont think you need the x upgrade, its not really for you. Because you are like me, and i believe that any octane higher then 91 is uselesss because that is not what i drive on on a daily basis. after reading about it, X upgrade is really not worth it for people like us. But if you want to run higher boost by using higher octane to get better times, then you should get it. And the dual solenoid thing does not come with the X upgrade as i thought it did. It is just a extra thing terry is trying so its not for sure yet.
