when you disconnect them one will be a lot longer. longer one goes to the one facing the engine

It will work without the tune
The only way to take full advantage of the 3 stage manifold is to get a tune.

Getting ready to finally install the intake manifold on my 325i. I am purchasing an N51 intake manifold.

Just wanted to do a final rundown before picking up the last few parts..

I BELIEVE, all I need is a new crank case vent hose (11157522931 - http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E90-325.../ES20/ES19633/) because they are prone to cracking on removal, and oil separator vent hose (11617559530 - http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-Z4-3.0S...sions/ES25824/) correct?

I shouldn't have to plug anything on the N51 manifold to work on my 325i right?

Sorry, just double checking.

I should mention I already have a new intake mani gaskets, throttle body gasket, screws, and two brand new DISA adjusters

If you have the later build 325 then you shouldn't need to plug anything.

Technically speaking you don't need the hoses if you can transfer them from your current manifold to your new one without breaking them. I didn't end up breaking any one mine.

Screws you can also reuse from your old one.

Well its a Feb 2006 build date. I've never heard of variances within the 2006 MY though.

I heard the early built ones only has one port on the manifold. But since you're ordering new hose that should solve your problem.

Awesome! This is info I was hoping to find. I just bought a used 3 stage manifold with DISA valves included and I was hoping to test the valves before installing the manifold. Thanks!

Hey guys. I own 2007 bmw e91 328i. Yesterday I installed my 3stage manifold that I got from a member here that came off 330i. Now when I start the car I have lots of pressure at oil cap and oil leaks out a bit over there. Now I know this is not normal.
My original manifold had 2 nipples out to breather hose, the new one had only one and straight to the back of the valve cover.
Is it possible that the hose that was given to me with the manifold is defective or cracked and my engine is under pressure because of this. I am not driving the vehicle until I get this resolved, but looking to see where to start, car seems to be driving normal, but obviously I don't want to do any damage.

You can use your original hose as long as you plug one of the connectors. That would not cause any problem.

Does anyone have the part # of the single connector hose? I have dual connector hoses and trying to install a single connector, 3-stage manifold.

Can anyone confirm that the part is #11617522933 ? Looks like the equivalent part for the pre-2005 intake manifold. Thanks for working with me PSUMSU!

I just plug mine with a rubber stop. That ensures the hose will be the correct size and length.

Well, neither of the connectors line up with the single hole.. I'd rather not try to bend the "plastic" hose to rig it.

OK not sure why your one did not line up but I had no issues using the existing hoses.

You can see what I have done here http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=939530

I plugged mine. I had problems with putting a single hose on my car. IT wouldn't vent well and I had serious overflow in the engine.

We used PN#11617522933, it's the single hose that is made for the pre-06 manifold. Hopefully it will run smoothly.
