My name is Connor, and my first couple cars were Nissan's. In an effort to poke fun in high school, some people mashed my name together with my current car at the time, 300zx, and Connor + Nissan = Conissah. Sort of pronounced Cahn-ih-sah (or con-nissah, essentially just nissan but no trailing N). It's my go-to handle for pretty much everything.

Lame I know, but better than my Steam name, Moist Sphincter.

Mine's based on a domain that I own, which is in turn based on my name.

Immature 16 year old me thought of the 2 worst words I could think of, and made them my name, so I had to listen to people say it when they needed to talk to me in game. The crude MS Paint drawing, that my HS buddy did, of someone bending over spreading cheeks is the best part. Still cracks me up.

When you cob the power/firewall the throttles, you're going "balls to the wall"-- i.e. the throttles (which used to have balls or something similar on the top of them) are pushed to maximum thrust, near the firewall.

This is what I had always heard, specifically referencing WWII pilots. It had originated from military aircraft at full throttle and pitched down, which would obviously be the fastest way of getting to "top" speed, hence the meaning of the term; going all out.

I picked "flybigjet" as an email address (on AOL, then Earthlink) about 30 years ago when the internet became a thing-- I drove the Lockheed C-5 Galaxy for about 26 years, so the moniker fit.

I've downsized since then-- flying a light twin from Boeing, but I suppose it could be considered a "big" jet..... if you're comparing it to a Citation or something like that.

I miss our neighborhood C-5 wing over in the next town. Those beasts seemed to hover menacingly for minutes on approach, and departures left the locals standing there in awe trying to figure out why the thing didn't fall out of the sky.

They were "upgraded" to C-17's, but it's not the same.....

I love the pic of the Herc next to it. My daughter flew Herc's when she was in the CF and now fly's for a small airline in the far north. I'll never forget when she told me the first time she did a trans Atlantic crossing in the Herc, I was so proud.

Thank you for your service.

My user name started in grade school when our class went go-cart racing. One of my more enthusiastic friends would jumble words together at times. He messed up my name and transposed the first letters of my first and last name. It stuck after that. I have always used this screen name since back in the AIM days.
