fyi, khuuster and I will be meeting up at tapx in san jose on silver creek rd at 10:15pm tonight for a little bit to drink boba and discuss what makes boba so tasty. all are welcome to join. It'll only be for less than an hour, but it'll give you a quick boba fix as the week is winding down.

can't make it tonight. if it was around the 17-19th, then i will be down. i'll be in sj for a business trip during that time. last boba drink i had was a while ago, i usually only get it whenever i'm down in sj. hence i only had about 4 boba drinks ever.

I'm actually a beginner when it comes to boba. But if you scroll up to the first few pages, there's a lot of good input as to the good flavors that people recommend. I used to always stick to the original milk tea with tapioca and besides that, i'll order the green tea with lychee jelly or on cold nights I'll get the hot milk tea by itself. And I haven't been to the "good" boba places. I've only been to the franchise ones and supposedly those places aren't as good as the independently owned ones.
