Are you going to go only catless DPs with your stock secondary cats and resonator?

I believe you will still be able to pass visual and smog with the secondary cats installed. For sure if you run no secondary cats you will not pass smog.

But that is just my opinion. I know people on the boards are running just catless DP's with their resonator and 2ndary cats still in. Also vice versa, people remove their 2ndary cats and and keep their primary. It comes down to a preference over sound as well.

I believe if you get Catless DP's with a stock exhaust setup on teh 335, it sounds really clean and good. If you take out the resonator its going to get raspy. Even worse without the 2ndary cats.

2 things it can come to:

1- its going to be a noise preference becuse im not sure what you're going to do for exhaust system. Just Catless DP's only? No problem then!

2- If you're worried that you have to pay to reinstall to pass smog, i wouldnt worry about it. Leave it in, take it to a smog shop that provides free re-test. If you dont pass, install your stock one back in.

The reason i can justify Option #2 is because your car is new. You won't have to do a smog for another 5 years. The price to pay for performance versus time is well worth the money.
