Doing alright.

It was very productive and very tiring. I fixed a lot of stuff this weekend, including a backlight and inverter on a Thinkpad and a friend's license plate lights on his E46. He had a broken connector in the trunk handle and a messed up cable bundle at the flex point (just like Danny's from a few weeks back).

Wow that does sound busy. I changed a backlight and inverter on an HP once. That will be the only time, it was such a PITA. Seems like it's fairly common for the wire bundles on the cars to go?

My weekend was long, spent it in its entirety at my church for our annual Greek Festival and I was in charge of the bars so a lot of moving and pouring involved.

Yeah, it was a real pain. I actually started last weekend, but the first replacement backlight shattered so we had to wait for a new one. It's a super thin frame screen, too, so everything was really cramped.

Yes, the wire bundles eventually go on just about all of the trunks with that design. It happens on many generations of BMWs going back quite a ways and still continues on the E9x. Just something they've never really fixed.

Sounds like fun.

dude i ended up just buying a new one when i ordered my hardwire kit online haha sorry, that slipped my mind entirely
