all very true but she has a child now... whether she's 15 or 21 she has to do right by him. If that means no hangin out with the girls or drinkin with the guys so be it! She has to put in the time with her child and not simply dump him in her mom's lap who as you say is kinda unstable!

Not completely since i don't have kids (no one has come fwd with proof) but being around my nephew and watching him grow for just a few short years i realize the time and commitment that a child takes. It's a big job being a parent...

i agree with that... its not about her geography thats going to make or break her son its the time she makes to love and nurture him. But if her mother was a positive influence i would see no harm in her helping. Unfortunately in this case the grandmother is unstable and the mother doesn't make the child her priority so its a no win situation!!
