I have experience with PVS 7s (multiple versions) and my favorite, or most versatile is the PVS 14.

I prefer monocular over binocular because I still try to exercise my natural night vision whenever possible. And monocular can be used over longer periods of time because less eye fatigue and disorientation that's usually caused by extended use of binocular style NODS

Nothing wrong with them. I presume you are not talking about the infrared IR ones. Just remember they work in two directions. If you point one at night especially on a foggy night you'll see it. They can be very helpful in target acquisition.

It's solid and great for motorcycle riding and EDC
I started carrying a fixed blade knife and a pepper spray pistol…. But may switch back depending on what's going on in the world

Grabbed a 20 year old Beretta 92FS off a coworker for $300. It’s in great shape. Some cleaning and new springs and I’ll give this to my other sister. I gave my old 92F to my youngest sister awhile ago.

Welp, I have ordered an Atheris 6.5 Grendel with 18" barrel. Bare bones otherwise.

Now I have the opportunity to purchase an Obsidian Arms AR Pistol, 5.56 in 7.5"-10.5", or .300blk in 8.5"-10.5". Anyone had experience with Obsidian? They are a small family run shop out of my home state.

I don't know about Obsidian, but the choice between 556 and 300 BLK obviously depends on your desires. I went 300 BLK because of the ability to go subsonic and match it up with a suppressor. Also it can handle multiple uses, like varmit using 125 grain in addition to the 200 grain subs. The ammo is more expensive than a 556, but it's coming down and if you reload then you have more control over price. Anyway, you can't go wrong either way. Enjoy 👍
