I have been driving it for about a week. However, On thursday I gassed up with a full tank of 91 only. Then last night right before I did this log I put in the 3 gallons of E85. The car feels like a BEAST, it drives good but I want to make sure the engine is running as good as it feels. Thanks.

dumb cobb question here. i am in NC and have my emission inspection due august 1st. is there a map for stage0 and a dp fix? any one passed the sniffer with catless dp's?

A friend if mine just installed CP-E catless downpipes with stock exhaust . His idle and pre 2500rpm is very throaty. He is running stage 2+ aggressive. Is there anyway forvhim to get rid of that?

Get atr, you can activate the code delete. Sniffer should be fine with secondary on . Readiness .. Not sure.

Well it does, since when he was running Stage 1 Aggressive, there wasn't much throatyness from 600 - 2500 rpm..Only started when we put on V401 Stage 2+ Aggressive

So with cpe dps and stage 1 aggr. There was no throatyness?
Stage 2+ has much more load / boost which gives than better sound .

You won't see any of the DP gains while running Stage 1, running Stage 2 or Stage+FMIC if you're catless.

Why? Stage 2 cancels out the DP/emissions related codes. I'm assuming that you're looking to run a Stock COBB tune w/ the JB4 to get readiness for an OBD emissions testing? Here are all the possible DP related codes:

It would be nice to use cobb just to clear the cat codes so that I wont have to use canclear on the jb4. With canclear on if I ever get a limp mode, check engine light, ect. the code will be erased unless you quickly switch to map 0. And i don't want to stack the jb4 on top of stage 2 maps and blow up my car.

Why not just use the COBB tune alone? Especially since ATR has been released and you can basically get all the benefits currently available on the JB4. And with the COBB you'll be able to instantly view any codes that get thrown & they won't get automatically erased erased (so you'll be able to identify & diagnosis any problems you're having)

You know not what you speak, JB4 offers *way* more than a flash tune (meth integration, gauge hacking, etc). I'm gay as a rainbow for cobb and think the JB4 is a stud when it comes to features.

With ATR or an ATP tune, you get meth integration. You'll also be able to tune for aftermarket turbos, race gas and/or E85. So really the only "major" feature that the JB4 has is gauge hijacking, which IMHO isn't a landmark "selling point" for a tune.

And I know that empirical data isn't and shouldn't be the deciding factor for what is the "best" tune, but COBB has the data that illustrates that that they are the most consistent & best performing tunes

just open the stock map with ATR and uncheck all of those and also activate the speed delimeter than save it and flash it. Thats what i run now for jb4 G5 and CANclear OFF
If you open stage 2 map you will see what has been done there in terms of advanced options.
here dipfix and Speed delimiter.


i have also lowered timings by 1 degree

I'm not sure if this has been suggested in this thread.....BUT is it possible to integrate some type of warning indicators in the AP itself or program the AP to turn on an audible alarm in the car?

An example would be, if timing went negative a past a user defined threshold, the turn signals would flash or the door chime would be activated. Maybe the screen on the AP could flash red or something?

Is anything like this possible with the AP?
