I hope it's really this summer, they keep delaying this thing for whatever reason.

I started watching The Americans being I enjoyed Keri Russell in The Diplomat so much. I’m on episode two of season one. I don’t recall anyone talking about it here and don’t feel like reading through all the pages. Anyone watch it? It’s not doing it for me yet. Does it get better?

Thanks

concur. it's definitely in my top 10 all-time series. like another of my all-timers, the wire, this show does seem to move slowly through some stretches, but the writers do a great job of bringing together long-running strands and tying them up. great character development throughout...especially with the kids.

Ohhh, thanks for the heads up!

BTW, Clarkson's Farm is a really good series as well.

Really good four quadrant show.
Of course production has ended after Jezza said something off-color about some royal or another.

A co-worker recommended Joe Pickett on Apple TV

Season 1 came out in 2021 and I binged the season on a couple domestic flights last week. Season 2 in on episode 3 and comes out on Sundays.

Has some Justified feel to it.

Jury Duty on Amazon seemed like an interesting idea, but I fell asleep checking it out.

Dempsey and Makepeace.
Good 80's undercover police series about an NYPD cop sent to London for his own protection after angering a mob figure but causes mayhem with his hunches which usually turn out to be right. It's OK if a bit overblown at times but needs it to make it watchable.

Some of these episodes last two hours and in this rather long clip Lieutenant Dempsey meets his team mate Sergeant Makepeace for the second time @ 5:25.

Man, this brings back memories...Glynis Barber was probably my first celebrity crush, and she still looks great to this day. Amazing lady.

I just finished season 1 of FUBAR on Netflix. Good acting by Arnold and how he used lines and references to himself from movies in the past.. The plot is somewhat over the top, but it's entertainment.

I've been watching the new show Lazarus Project on TNT. It's Groundhog Day with a good plot. I like shows with time travel so this one is right up my alley.

I gave up on FUBAR after 2 episodes, it was just a bit too much of I don't know what but I had to switch it off.

Clark on Netflix. It's funny as hell, definitely check it out. It's about Clark Olfaffson who is responsible for the term Stockholm syndrome.

My wife and I enjoyed it. Clearly they took some artistic licence with the character development, but I think it worked. We found it very funny.
