Egyptian fava beans

So good. Smoky cumin with coriander and turmeric. Onion, tomato and garlic with lots of EVOO. Diced lemon flesh and fresh lemon juice. With grilled pita and tahini sauce. Grapes for dessert. The photo shows 3 good size portions or 4 smaller portions.

This has so much going for it in the flavor and nutrition departments.

Three bean "chili" that is really more of a stew. Cheap, cheap, cheap meal that makes 4-6 servings and is delish. This time I loaded up on the chipotle chili powder, so it had a nice smokey/spicy edge to it. I really need to remember to take a pic next time.
