I've got 19's... I bent one wheel the first week I had them... But i've had them on for about 3-4 months now, and thats the only problem I came across so far....:knockonwood:

What wheels are you getting?

i have 19s and they are really not badly affected by the roads. granted i dodge every one but still its not that bad.

Get the 19"s, they look so... much better than 18"s. I have 19"s and drive into the city pretty often and have no problems. Just have to be careful of the potholes. Plus, since you're going to go with non-rfts, they will absorb the potholes a little better. And my car is lowered too and I have had no problems (knock on wood). And if you go with 18"s you might regret it and want to swap out for 19"s. So, just do it right the first time and order 19"s.
