The problem with shiny black cars is, they reflect everything. Plus, the location needs to be right as well. If you shoot a black car on a bright day, your background will be to bright, or your car will be to dark. So shooting on the right day is also important.

Get your self a Circle polarizer. They are great for car photography, they help remove reflections + they add contrast and saturation to your images.

You can get a cheap one for under 50.00

When i shoot a black car, like the integra in my recent flickr photos. I take about 5 shots, rotating the circle polarizer, that way reflections are removed from multiple parts of the car, then i combine them together in photoshop and mask what i need/dont need. It's a lot of work, but its worth it.

^Dont worry about shit like that right away, just worry about taking good single phoots.

slim one never had the option to install another os...its if you wanted to run something like linux. It didnt work that great though, i had kubuntu installed on it and it ran like shit.
