Meh.

Just saw it and a big meh. Got EXACTLY what I expected, it tried to be bigger, badder, supercharged etc but the entire thing felt stilted, manufactured, emotionless and ham fisted. The lead female literally narrating the storyline the entire movie to try and explain a series of incredibly "long bow" situations was terrible writing.

Great fights, outstanding CGI but meh.

This was pleasantly entertaining. It had that A Quiet Place vibe.
Cage is doing pretty damn good in his later years...

I like a good bug movie but that reeks of everything happening in the dark and you can't see shit for 2 hours. I'll still watch it because bug movie.

I saw the trailer yesterday in the theatre before watching kong and godzilla. It looks OK but man, Jackman looks old/slow/over it.

What we need is for someone to cut the Shogun series into a full-length movie.

Anyone see this?
VOD in Canada is weird for this movie... right now, seems only available in the US.
I'm a GR fan.

Horror is always slim pickings so Baghead was watchable.

Watched "Mother's Instinct" with the Wife and Sneetch tonight.

This was the 2024 version with Jessica Chastain & Anne Hathaway.

The two female leads were excellent, and watching their acting and the dynamic between them was great.

The rest of the movie?

That's one hour and thirty four minutes that we'll never get back. It tries to be a Hitchcockian suspense thriller, but misses the bar badly.

It's a pass unless you're a big Chastain or Hathaway fan.
