Despite the snow, I swapped the rear seat air vent/ash tray surround today. The original...

...was just a tiny bit battered!

Didn't take long to swap in a new one off eBay, which I picked up for just £22.99 including delivery. Bargain! Here's what's underneath:

And here's the new one in place:

I'll rarely see it myself, but I'm happy with that for a quick half hours work. Kick plates next, well, when the snow clears a bit!

^^^Nice work.

Repaired the wiring feeding the boot lid as it wouldn’t open and some lights in boot lid were out. Had to pop the rubber button and connect brown to metal/ground to get it open (and it is cold outside).

Yeah no one injured. Just my bank account. Other driver turned in front of me when I was going 60 on the ride home from work. I would say there was about a half a second of time to even react so that's about how fast I t-boned the Impala at. Not the best day of my life...

Installed new shocks and Ground Control Camber Plates

New Shocks, have always had difficulty getting the alignment where I wanted it, so I put on some Ground Control Camber plates, and had it set to 1.5 degrees each side. Very smooth ride now. 2006 E90 325i

Because it snowed twice this week, there’s salt and sand everywhere in my town. My E90 is filthy. It bothers the heck out of me to see it so dirty. Spring can’t get here fast enough.

I paid BMW $1100 including loaner for this job which I didn't think was unreasonable. I don't think I would want to tackle this job in my garage. Kudos to you and good luck.

Thanks! That's a very fair price. My local Indy shops wanted 2k+.. and there was no way I was paying that. Removal was very straightforward, maybe 5 hours working by myself.

Pardon my ignorance but what is a RMS replacement?
