i find 5+ hours a week is most effective. the max i do is 3 hours of training technique, 2 hours of contact, 1 hour of weapon training, 1 hour of tai chi. works perfect for me.

I found 15+ hours a week effective during wrestling. I don't see any difference, it's whatever my schedule/body will allow me to do.
