I'm only posting this one because it's cool that this is one of the last E91's produced, it's a May 2012 build from the vin.

As an aside, we've had our E91 now for almost two years, and the second rear window regulator just popped today (perhaps the prior owner used the windows a lot which we rarely do in our cars). My wife and I took it all apart and removed the broken regulator in prep for getting the part this week. Between these two and one rear one on her E90, we're experts at this now.

Looks like the blk/blk, RWD, automatic Msport on Ebay was pulled. I'm assuming someone made an offer privately.
Also it looks like EAG has a 6spd manual RWD for sale, no sport package. Low miles, high price. |

Wonder what they charge for that one. It was for sale for $18k from a dealer in Atlanta, I think, that they bought when I thought I had a deposit on it.

Buying a used transmission, pedal cluster, diff, shifter, driveshat, can price out less than $2000. Figure another $600 for a new clutch/pp/flywheel, and you're somewhere in the range of less than $2500 for parts. In any event, it takes a unique place to think (know?) they can buy this 7 year old wagon and almost double the price to flip it.

Good grief. That's the same car as the one I bought, with 20k fewer miles, for $19k OTD. Dealer went through the car pretty thoroughly, too. I dont get it.
For what they're asking it should be updated to sport package and some nicer wheels at least. Last edited by .RJ; 10-17-2017 at 11:59 AM.. |

It's nice that they try to preserve low mileage and nice examples but many of their cars are quick flips with very little, if any, work being done prior to adding 50% or more to the price.
They wouldn't even give me an offer when I briefly considered selling my mint and super rare 128i M Sport slick top 6MT, comparing my car to automatic no option cars at under $10k. They are truly in the business to low ball and make a quick buck, preventing many true enthusiasts from affording a particular vehicle along the way. Just don't give EAG your business, simple as that. |

The black M Sport auto is back on ebay. Looks like ebay pulled the listing because the dealer displayed their website. Jeeze really? Ever hear of google ebay?

This might have been posted earlier someplace, but here is a 2009 automatic but with sport package located in Raleigh: https://raleigh.craigslist.org/ctd/d...350023235.html
These guys are pretty cool too -- if you're interested in 1970s/1980s dirt/motocross bikes, you can check out their showroom full of them while there to look at the wagon: http://www.eastcoastvintagemx.com/bikes-for-sale.html. (no affiliation, haven't done business with them either but am pondering a '70s RM)

Also, those wheels are terrible. I would think those Weaver Motorsports guys should be able to get a set of cheap oem alloys to swap those cheapo rims out. |

Throwing this out there for you guys, but Greenwood Motorsports (aka GMS Wagons) in Evanston, IL often has a 6MT in stock. I've spoken to them a few times in the past and they're true enthusiasts who enjoy the cars and just want them to go to a good home.
Right now they have a 2011 328i xDrive 6MT, Jet Black over Chestnut leather, non-sport with 99k miles for $12.9k. Exterior is a little rough, but they fully admit it and have it marketed as such. Could be a good buy for someone who wants to fix it up a little, or even wrap it. http://gmswagons.com/inventory/

Keysopendoors is spot on about Greenwood Motor Sports. They do great work - and are currently working on my '11 E91 so I hope they keep it up! They took this car I found, a low miles MT Xi, and worked with me transforming it into a virtual M sport and joy to drive. Admittedly I probably would not have bought the car without their expertise readily available but now, owing to their honesty, enthusiasm, and resources am having them work on my '89 325 iS.

I was going to post in this thread before realizing I needed to start a new thread in the main section. Here's the link to my thread on my 2007 E91 experience over the past 21 months that might be of interest to those looking to buy an older and/or higher mileage example.

2007 328i Touring 6spd RWD Deep Green - Sand Beige
Just putting a feeler out there to possibly sell my 2007 328iT 6 speed RWD. Non-sport model, but some nice options. Not sure if this is the right place to post the car, just let me know if it's a problem. I've been following this thread for over a year now, so I'm guessing this is the best place for E91's!
A good friend here on the boards helped me find this car December of 2016, but I've got 8 BMWs right now, and I'm in the 'trim the collection mode' at the moment. I just sold my Oxford green 2000 M Roadster last week, and also have a Fern green '99 M3 coupe for sale right now, as well as two Saraha Beige 740i M Sports... So I figure I might throw the E91 on the pile, and look for a less valuable/collectible BMW daily driver....I'm keeping my E31 and E36/8 however. Car currently sits at 88,528 miles. I got the car less than a year ago with about 81,500 miles, so I've put on roughly 7,000 trouble free miles during my ownership. No mechanical issues, no mods other than the happy robot mod (just done yesterday), European amber tail lights, rear fog switch, and about 20-30? items/features coded by a professional remotely (like adding park ventilation, etc.). Car was a Texas one owner vehicle (a lady pediatrician) before a dealer in Washington State snatched it up at auction, whom I purchased it from and had it shipped right back down south to Arizona where it is now. Had to replace both the adaptive HID headlights with new units and modules due to soy wiring problem, and module corrosion ($1250!). Also installed a new battery, sparkers, new coils, oil change, gearbox oil, and power steering reservoir change and flush has been done. Just replaced the dreaded starter motor too. Needs another oil change now but is driving great. Took it to Bimmerfest this year, and it's great on the highway too, even with the crappy run-flats. Wanted to get a set of 270M wheels but could never find a used set. The brake pads work great, but they are the damn dirtiest pads I've ever seen in my life... Been meaning to change them to a low dust type but they still have a ways to go. The sand beige/walnut interior is near excellent, but the wagon needs some paint and body work on the outside (driver door dents, clear coat issues on rear spoiler, etc.), but overall it's OK. I replaced the windshield gasket, a common rubber break-down on E9x cars. I think the pass. rear door area was hit and repaired at one time also. The initial CARFAX I got didn't show anything, but about a week after I got the car, I checked again, and sure as shite, a damage report showed up in 2012. I have copies of both reports before and after the damage entry is listed. Title is clean however. I have plenty of photos and more info if anyone's interested. I'd need right around $13,500 to let it go. A very frustrating day today. A sport pack, blue, 6spd, decent mileage, 2010 xi hit the market this morning in my autotrader search. I also got a helpful heads up email from Chuck. I'm local to this dealer, about 10 miles, and I stalked them starting around 8:30am until they opened at 9am. I got a used salesman on the phone at 9:01am. I said I wanted it, and could put a deposit down today and pick up Monday. He called me back 5 minutes later.
The car was sold at 8am (they opened at 9am remember) to someone in NY who got a sales person through online chat. That never entered my mind that someone would be on the other end of online chat that early. This pursuit of 6spd manual E91's is reaching true stupidity levels. I was livid when I found out, now having two cars slip through my fingers. And to my knowledge I'm not even facing up against EAG in my search yet. I have a helpful forum member here talking with me about his car for sale, otherwise I would be ready to F this noise and get an automatic F31. |
