sir, that's a floating sushi kinda bar. that is nowhere near fresh. if you went to newport ave, and 5 freeway then you went to Sushi 5 YOU HAVE FAILED. you just went to the wrong place on that street

Actually, we have met....not in person....but nice to re-meet you, Nabil!

Sushi 5 had the best Albacore I have ever tasted. They also serve a killer Shittake mushroom. Their Unagi is extremely fresh and not fish at all.

My favorite is their Volcano Roll, which is a California roll topped with baked scallops and some sort of white cream sauce that comes hot.....it melts in your mouth!!!!

Not Fresh?! I mean granted, i have been there a few times and it wasnt that fressh, but mostly it is.

It is only not fresh when they have their stupid 1 dollar plate days.....I think they lower the quality on those days....
