95ron is pretty crap fuel, it'll have the lowest Octane rating. If you fill up with 100ron and flash the 93oct/98ron MHD map, you should notice a difference in power as well. E85 with relevant remap will give even more power. I thought you meant it was decatted, if the car has stock downpipes don't flash stage 2. Stick to Stage 1, then Stage 1+ when you have FMIC upgraded. |

No man 😢 the car falls flat on it's face the moment I go WOT. It feels slightly better if I gradually apply power. Feels like an exhaust leak or wastage not closing. Any reason why my intake temps are so high? A leak at the intercooler could cause my car to run hot? It's a Moshimito intercooler. Gearbox still stock. No xhp yet. Waiting for my car to run as intended before I flash my gearbox. |

It's probably because your running stock transmission tune with stock torque limiters with 17t's. You need XHP transmission flash Looks like your FMIC may need an upgrade. You need 7 inch FMIC with 17t's Last edited by Saif2018; 01-01-2023 at 11:03 AM.. |

You are only halfway to boost target. Wgdc is high the whole pull (turbos working twice as hard and still not coming close to target.)

I went Full MHD and just left JB4 at 0. Didn't think it'd be a problem, took it out cause I'm going to sell it and now I'm hitting 14+ (was really wet out so I didn't WOT). Hardly any play in wastegates, was told they were replaced 20k miles ago with paperwork. Will upload another log when I can. No wastegate rattle during start up or driving

Need a bit of help. This has been my 'final' dd Wedge custom map and it has been great for several years until a few months ago. I'm getting some stumbles/bumps in partial throttle, things are less noticeable in WOT. If I push wot for 3 full gears I can get a cylinder 6 misfire and shutdown. But it's the very obvious bumps at partial/half throttle at lower rpm (1800-3000), which should (I think) be more telling of a diagnosis. I just don't know what to look for in the logs or if the cause may not even show here. Second question is, could I diagnose a bad/failing injector via logs?
Just carbon cleaned. New plugs gapped to .018. New coils. 4th gear wot 4th gear half throttle

I should be on a custom tune I know. But other things to do.
So thinking on my recent comments in the MHD v10 thread I figured I'd grab a 3rd gear pull to see if it's my car or the tune. My car has relocated inlets and mild upgraded turbos (15ts ish). I am on a OTS V10. I wonder if I have issues with plugs and injectors, or if I boost erratically because of the tune? I had traction control on as I wasn't thinking about it because I never log. And it's a bridge with concrete sections so it possibly broke traction is why the throttle cut? It sounded like it misfired but threw no cel. This is one of my complaints I mentioned in the other thread, that the turbos aren't very linear. I could try V7 as everyone seems to like that. https://datazap.me/u/n54wagen/feb622...og=0&data=3-21 |

You need to log on a flat surface, with DSC fully off (hold DTC button down for a few seconds) go upto 3rd gear at 2.5k then go WOT until just over 6k shift into 4th and back off. Post the log afterwards. |

The Mishimoto FMIC is about the smallest one you can get so those results aren't particularly surprising. It's better than stock but probably the smallest improvement of any of the name brand FMICs. |

Hi
I still have post shift timing corrections regardless of the stage on V10 E50 V3.2 mhd app. Same things happen with V9 too. Never tried V7.1 or V8. Sometimes on 1/2 or 3 cylinders at the same time . My car is a z4 35IS with 30000miles ,coil and spark plugs are new. https://datazap.me/u/vadonchez/log-1...1&zoom=113-191 I saw on another forum that MHD is aware of that problem on DCT cars but it seems that problem wasn't solved .... MHD said to me few month ago that post shift corrections are "normal" but how can massive corrections up to -10° be normal?? I can feel the lack of power when it happens . Another strange thing with timing is the crank timing that made a "step" around 4000 rpm. BEfore 4000rpm crank timing is low and eratic then it become ok around 10/12° above 4000rpm and I don't understand why. .... Are other DCT cars owner concern by that post shift correction too? Any suggestion? Thanks |

That's a lot of timing and very little boost. Try running a stage 2+ map with a lower fuel grade instead. |
