Interesting. I just had a great experience with BaT last week. Between BaT and Cars&Bids there is still a market out there for MT cars. I will definitely go that route next time I need to sell any of our cars.

I am looking to find a manual wagon. Not to worried about trim as it will be a daily. Lci is preferred but not required. I also do not care about color or interior color. Mostly just condition. I’m located near Chicago but also willing to travel.

One of Three because Bronzit is ick....I always associate this color with old folks and I am older. But can't ever see me purchasing a bronze BMW of any series.

You know, I would've thought the same, but looking at the pictures, I have to say I think the combination of the bronze and brown interior is awesome looking. its too bad that car doesn't have sport seats! I would absolutely drive that color combination!

I wish there was more information on what's wrong with it. Even with the mileage and all the little bumps and bruises, a 6MT RWD LCI car that's reasonably clean shouldn't be mechanically totaled. A junkyard drivetrain is a few grand, and a couple weekends should have it in.

I buy fro Copart All the time this Vehicle is totaled it says clean title. It was donate for a cause. Guess the owner didn't know what he had in is hands and just didn't feel like dumping money into it.

You think a N52 with a 6mt, that is not also shelled out, is going to be an easy salvage find? It is going to take a lot more than a "weekend" to figure out what is wrong, find everything tofu everything that is wrong, buy that list of salvage components, pick it up / ship it, sort it out, install.

Buy the car listed by crimpwimp above, and you'd be waaaaay ahead.
