This is from Tony at CS Tuning, he does the flash work for AMS.

ah ha. Yeah, CS = Checksum. They're right next door to Fluid. I was thinking of doing this as well. Count me in if you're doing this.

Jay I am so down with this. I am getting a refund from my refi in the mail soon. Once I get that I am in. Curious on the cost of the handheld flash tool but I sent a PM about that already.

Just make sure the dealer doens't ever update your software whenever you go in, or else you have to make another trip up here

I have 32.1 now. Hence why the hand flash would be nice. Also need to talk to Tony about the codes this may throw.

I agree. It would be nice to get that tool. Might be worth the money.

So I just called Tony and spoke with him. He is going to check to see if they have flashed any cars with 32.1 and get back to me. He did say that they are about there with the hand flash tool and are trying to make it a little more user friendly. They are also trying to build in the scan capability like the BT tool so that you can remove codes. you could then hold 3 maps on the tool like the OEM, Stage 1 and Stage 3 and flash back and forth as needed. The estimated cost range is around $700-$800.

You buy Stage 1, they give you stage 2 or 3 when your car is ready for it for free, and lifetime reflashes for free.

I am 99% sold on this right now.

That sounds like a good deal. I am sure there will be at least 3 people interested in this. Maybe a bigger group buy?

At $399 I think it is a steal. I should take my car back to stock appearance and work off the "sleeper" theory.
