hrm...hard these days. I know the State Police hardly use radar anymore. I have gone past a stupid amount of cops that were gunning people (you could drive by and see them with it over their arm), and his detector would never go off...so I could only assume they were using radar.

However I know the police that patrol the Palisades Parkway still use radar sometimes...I was out in E90fanatics old E90 and his went off like crazy..and sure enough there was one hanging out around the bend as we went by..

they are crazy now too..they hide facing with traffic, and use the detector mounted in the back glass or on the side of the car facing backwards...and they sit there running with all the lights off..

i would. if not the laser jammer then def a radar detector.

i see troopers using ka band all the time on 684 etc... i travel to ct alot and it has saved me ALOT. lol
