if they actually caught it, it may void your clutch warranty, but its a modification of the stock part so it looks identical as it came from the factory, its possible to do it yourself, but many people have done it wrong and got air in their clutch system as a result

no warranty voided... when we do it, we retain the stock piece, just modified... no one will even know!! Depends how handy you are with cars... clutch needs to be bled ect.
