Did a relatively overdue oil and oil filter change.
Used Castrol for the first time, put in 5w-30 and changed it at 111k miles. Gonna start changing it every 5k miles or so and not be neglectful about oil changes like I've been recently. While I was changing the oil I also removed my passenger side fog light because it's been broken since I got the car and was just flopping around inside the bumper . |

After both front blinkers not working for months. I took the depo halogen projector headlights off the car and replaced them with OEM halogens ugly and hate them.
Decided to open up the Depo headlights to see about fixing the problem. Baked the headlights removed the lens covers. Took apart completely and seems like an easy fix. The contact for the blinker socket broke off. Will replace in the coming days. But since i have the headlight open. HMM upgrade time. ordered new projectors. Went with Acme H1 Super version. Not the best but budget friendly and any improvement from those crappy halogen projectors. Will be doing an upgrade on the 4 LED's per ring i know sad only 4. Went with 3SMD per bubl and see how i like the light out put. If it seems acceptable keep it, If not order new halo rings. Also blacked out the chrome shrouds in satin black, Much happier. Now just waiting on HID projectors and parts to glue it all back together. |

Has misfire cylinder 5. Replaced all 6 coils. Ran fine for 2 hours, then misfire cylinder 5 again.
Disassembled to find I hadn't snapped the cable connector lever all the way down (locking the connector to the coil). If you replace coil(s), make CERTAIN that the connector is snapped fully down before buttoning everything up, or you'll be tearing it all apart again. |

Control arms. At 127k they were definitely pretty bad. Could hit the brakes and watch the front wheel move.
Out for a test drive and it drove much better, then hit a crater of a pothole on the way home.

Not today, but in the past week - New grille, smoked tails (which I'll probably do again a little darker), painted and installed new lower bumper grille, (broke a section of mine with a DA polishing), ordered steering wheel wrap.
Hopefully by the end of this week, steering wheel wrap will be installed and front lip ordered. Next - wheels and tires and then re-tinting windows to go a little darker. |

Anyone who lives in the rust belt part of the country or in a state that uses salt on the roads in the winter is crazy not to buy these for their e90. |

Replaced the old brake wear sensor I was using since it's replacement shattered when I put it on the brake pad.
Replaced the socket that the sensor plugs into since it had basically started to disentegrate. Put my refurbished rear wiper on. And cleaned up the license plate covers and put the new plates on it. |
