that's my thought process anyway before I get DP's. S1+ is still pretty impressive. Plus don't want to pay to play with DP's, My SA said that's one thing they look for during servicing. Sorry I don't have direct numbers for you, but just wanted to share the route I am taking.

this is for I8A0S, not sure what your ECU ID is, but i believe they are the same when it comes to what stage you get. essentially, suggested upgraded intake, drop in or DCI, Required Down Pipes, suggested Cat Back Exhaust system, Stock FMIC ok. when you go to S2+ is above plus Upgraded IC.

Also, is there any danger on running agressive mode for extended periods of time? I just loaded stage 1 sport stock throttle to see how it goes. |

i would not suggest running Stage 2 with stock car. you'll be happy with S1 Sport ST. I am not sure on the delta whp between S1 - S2 read this thread on how to Data Log http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=696472

The car isn't going to blow up if it doesn't like the map, it just wont run as well as it could. Timing corrections are the normal result of an over aggressive but the occassional correction isn't a big deal or something to worry about. Running a sport map on 93 octane is normally a good way to ensure the car is running well, but not a guarantee. That's where logging comes in. EDIT: VNeBLOB beat me to it ![]() |

that was the other guy. its always good to do a log, just to see how your car is performing. So yes, it can't hurt. be sure to have a flat safe road. preferably early morning, where there is less traffic and the air is cooler. But yes 93 Octane is good.

I think I will once I remap back to Sport after the tank runs dry of the E85 mix. At the moment, I've been filling up 3/4th tank of 91 & 1/4th tank of E85. With a 14 gallon tank, I get a 96 oct mix, and have posted the data logs in this very thread and I've gotten a green light. Car seems to be running great on the mix with aggressive. My IAT's are also pretty high, I've been getting 115 or so on warm 90 Degree days. Having BMS DCI (hot air intakes) doesn't help much either. I really want a larger intercooler! Quote:

The HP difference isn't huge but it is a nice bump.

Do you guys think it is safe to assume a stock car running Stg 1 Aggressive (93 oct) is producing 390hp and 414tq at the crank? I'm getting these numbers from the Cobb website indicating a 30% hp and 38% tq increase. The reason I ask is that I'm not a heavy tuner and I have no plans on ever taking my car to the dyno. Thanks in advance.

If so, you can just use sport map which is more conservative so you can feel safe!!!!!! ![]()

I just loaded the agressive map with linear throttle for the first time this evening. I could not wipe the smile off my face during my first run, the car pulls and pulls and just keeps going with power. I had the sport map with stock trottle loaded this afternoon, and sport linear throttle yesterday.
So far I like linear the best. I am going to leave it in agressive mode during for tomorrows commute but switch it back to sport until I can data log in agressive mode. So far so good ![]() |

I've seen stock cars dyno at 330whp/370wtq with the Stg 1 aggressive. So I don't see how the crank can only be mid 300s...
