Sweet ride and spec, if this was a manual and single hump would be selling for like 40k

I've already overspent any flip possibilities, and have plenty more items on the list!
Same here. I acquired mine courtesy of this thread, and have turned it into the sweetest-driving car I've ever owned.
  • single-hump, ZSP, pre-LCI, Xenons/lighting package w 676/Sirius
  • 3 stage intake manifold (330i tune)
  • Euro airbox
  • new AGM Battery (+ registered)
  • new Bosch starter
  • Ohlins R&T Coilovers
  • Upgraded Swift Springs (400lb/800lb)
  • Stiffer shock mounts
  • M3 Control Arms (front)
  • M3 Subframe Bushings
  • M3 transmission mounts
  • BMW Performance brakes (6-piston fixed on front, 4-piston fixed rear)
  • Stainless steel braided brake lines
  • BMW Performance Exhaust
  • new fuel sending unit & fuel pump
  • Lux H8 LED Halo bulbs
  • Smoke LED marker lights
  • M-performance shifter knob
  • Aluminum pedal set (including dead pedal)
  • Door speakers upgraded to BavSound (with sound deadening added to doors)
  • BimmerTech PP82DSP amp
  • Hands-free BT phone added (MULF upgrade)
  • BT music via aftermarket CD Changer emulator
  • Oil pan gasket
  • Oil filter housing gasket
  • Valve cover gasket
  • replaced passenger side engine mount
  • Drive belt replace (with pulleys and bolts)
  • New radiator, upper hose and fluid
  • Professionally detailed and Ceramic coated
  • Ceramic window tint all around
  • APEX rear spacers
  • Replace all wipers (OEM)
  • Replace washer pumps (front and rear)
  • Replace rear glass latch (OEM)
  • Replace driver cup holder
  • Oil changes
  • replaced Spark plugs & coils
  • New VANOS solenoids

  • New summer tires (4)
  • Brake fluid flush
  • Restored headlights (Sylvania kit)
  • Whispbar crossbars
  • monitored/coded using iCarly, ProTool, and ISTA+/INPA

I will never get what I put into it, nor would I expect to; cosmetically it has suffered in the California sun, and has a few nicks, dings, and requisite seat bolster wear that will get poo-poo'd by the overly-critical fanbois. But what I get out of it is perfection for a daily manual wagon. I've had fun building it (so far!), and definitely have had fun driving it.

I remember this one we put on here back in August. Asking price was 7500 and no one wanted it because of how bad it looked.

I've been wanting to downsize from my current F10 and test drove this yesterday. Seems like good maintenance history & less than 52k miles. Plus great color combo.
https://www.johnsonlexusdurham.com/u...49bc469eec.htm

First E9x drive for me, so wasn't sure what to expect. Loved the handling and the heated steering wheel. But...the interior noise was pretty high. I heard a good deal of noise from around the windshield at highway speeds (Carfax shows the dealer replace the windshield), plus the tire impact noise was high, too.

I know it'll be near impossible, but would rather have RWD. Plus the dealer gave me the lowest offer on my F10 I've had, so I passed.

Still on the hunt...

Tires can make a big difference to in-cabin noise on these things. I have PS 4's on my e91 and A/S 3+ on my e90. The PS 4's are much noisier, but they're quieter than the Continentals that were replaced. The A/S 3's are the quietest on any of my cars.

Cross posting here because this thread gets a lot of attention. Looking for thoughts on using a heat gun to try to unwarp this bumper.

Anyone in or near Socal? This seems like a solid pickup if it's been cared for. $8k for a manual with sport package?! Silver on black. If this were east coast I would be looking at it!

https://www.socal-sportscars.com/det...eries/77952601

Clean title and no accidents! 50k miles up in the salt belt... but south west car since 2011!

Thanks for the explanation! Wild, like it has headlight washers (unless I'm mistaken) I haven't seen on US M-Sports.
From the trunk shot it looks like it has a spare tire kit?
