The grandfather clock reminded me of the whole European Delivery experience, including a small town in the Black Forest called Triberg, famous for only two things: 1) cuckoo clocks, and 2) the original recipe for Black Forest Cake.

Goin up to Alaska right from here in Seattle (no flying helps when travelling with kid!) on the Sapphire Princess. Web access via satellite up in Alaska is spotty at best because of the extreme reception/transmission angles - will check in when I can.
