Since then I got my townhouse and moved out of the city, but my paycheck still deducts out city tax. I called up the HR people and they said the computer didn't change it because it wasn't suppose to change and to seek my local tax people to get some kind of form. My question is what form do I need and why do I need it?

I dunno. My HR people are indeed retards. They didn't even tell me what the form is for. They just said I need a form.

Actually I want them just to make the change in their system so I don't get the city tax anymore. They're giving me the runaround though.

Honestly you shouldnt need to fill out anything your human resources dept. should have made the changes for you when you moved and begun taxing you NJ taxes not PA..i would check with you human resources people first and see why they didnt make the change and what you need to do.

That's the thing. Technically I still live in PA, just northwest of Philly in a completely different county. I know they're supposed to change it in the system, but they keep telling me I need this form. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt in case there was a bigger state issue before I start calling them idiots, but it looks like they were idiots all along.
