Can anyone recommend an audio shop or installer who is well versed in BMW audio around OC? For legit audio recommendations, I don't mind traveling to the IE, LA, or SD, etc.

I specifically need someone who knows their way around the stock "S688 Harman/Kardon Surround Sound system".

I'll PM you my info but tomorrow I'm SOL for. Just installed inlets over the weekend. Ive had boost solenoid issues for the last few weeks and unfortunately I was running a custom E60 Map and the boost leak and throwing codes only increased. I ordered new boost solenoids last week, with delivery scheduled for today. Surprise, surprise! Fedex rescheduled my delivery for tomorrow. Long story short, I'm down for the meets, but this week I'm down shit creek briefly!

Hit up rob he has a new shop in Fullerton called speed logic. One of the best in oc. Bullet performance in Costa Mesa are really good as well check them out.

Hi all, I'm Shaun and I'm new here to the forums. I own a 2011 LCI E90 328i m-sport w/auto for now, lol.

I'm fairly new to LA and live in an apartment (mid-wilshire) so I was wondering if there are anyone here who could help me work on my car if you have a garage or even a drive way, or even in my parking lot if you aren't too far away.

Specifically: I need to replace my front brakes, so I bought some cross-drilled ones from ECS Tuning along with Akebono pads, oh and brake fluid flush while I'm at it I guess. I am somewhat mechanically inclined, as I worked on fighter jets in the Air force but never changed car brakes before so I wanted to see if there are fellow enthusiasts around the LA area who I could meet and greet and help each other out. I will compensate you of course. I could just pay a shop to work on the car but I like the satisfaction of working on it myself, within reason of course.

I could use a help working on my car in LA area. lol

There's a small group of us who go cruising in the SM mountains quite a bit. On my last S2000 I did a Brembo BBK Install with a buddy. Not sure I'd be much help but could try. Also there are some decent shops in the area that do mostly BMW's. Jonnie@Superformance in west LA is good. Also Blown95ImpalaSS knows a good shop in Glendale

Hi! Yeah I'm using the app right now but yeah I haven't gone for a good drive recently cause of the, you know, the LA traffic lol but I would love to go for a cruise on some good roads with good peeps. Yeah but as I said my car could at least use some maintenance work I've been putting off lol.

Yeah I used to have an ap1 S2k as well! It was a fun car but a little too small and unrefined lol.

I've been hunting for a good shop too. I did stop by Ikonic auto in Los Feliz (I think) a while back but still I prefer working on the cars myself if possible. I'll look into them.

I would like to meet the LA crew sometime

God I wish I could find the end of these maintenance related repairs. Injectors, HPFP now... FML. On the bright side, 3rd party warranty still active for a couple more months so I'll milk what I can with the $200 deductible.
