what clutch did you go with? did you put it in yourself? i cant determine if its the clutch getting ready to need replaced or if its possibly just the slave not adjusting to the release point. the clutch isn't fully disengaging. i can be rolling back extremely slow and when i go to put in first it creeps forward about an inch or so and then stops. down shifting is now very notchy feeling and i can almost feel it grind. i have a south bend stage 2 clutch in currently. if it indeed is the clutch im thinking of the spec stage 3. any insite is appreciated.

Went with the 335is/550i clutch this round for my current power goals (stock turbo, FBO E85 levels). I have driven N54s with anything from Southbend, Spec 2 & 3 to ACT so I have a good feel for how things are supposed to "feel".

Spec 3 is a great clutch all around, but depending on your power goals and needs it may be "too much" clutch for the car. You always want to keep drive ability into mind, let alone chattering and other factors. Find me at the next meet and lets talk. Should be able to help get you setup as well if you wanted.

So, we may have forgotten that the 91 closure is this weekend. It will be a nightmare for anyone coming from the IE.

Point "B" is called "Cook's Corner" for those unfamiliar.

Just thought I'd add. 99% Bikers there normally, but there's tons of spots to park. Pretty hard to miss too.

Edit: come to think of it, Irvine Blvd/Trabucco maybe a better street than Mainlands or Jeronimo. Both of those are busier generally.

FIY, if you have never been on these canyons before (or canyons in general), please drive with caution. Santiago is pretty tame and easy-going (2/10), but Live Oak and Modjeska are completely different (7~8/10), because they are quite tight and technical. On Live Oak there is no room for mistakes, if you go off, your car is totalled, end of story. Santiago is much more forgiving. If your car doesn't AT LEAST have good tires, Saturday will not be the night to be adventurous. We'll try to establish a good run order before we head out.
