did any of you order the optional high flow cat system ? and if not, how will you manage to pass smog tests when the time comes? Or did you lease the car, and will return it to stock before having to take the test?

i never had issues with my catless wrx, and i don't plan on having issues with my catless 355

probably because you are in IL... in CA, they are a lot more strict in terms of pollution.

There havent been any HFC systems sold yet. Smog testing only has to be done after a car is 4-5 years old in california, even when selling the car. At some point I'll take my car to be smog tested to see if primary cats in the downpipes are enough to pass a sniffer test. I agree its more of an issue in california, which is why we have the HFCs for those who want to run catless downpipes, but not go completely catless. I'm personally going to run catless DP's with a HFC'd exhaust.

Also, note to everyone else-

Sunday will be the very last day to get special pricing on the system and then it will be going back up to the normal price. The last day was supposed to be tomorrow, but I decided to extend it a little bit since I havent had a chance to give more warning due to our move into a new building this week.

Done a lot more research on x-pipes, 335s specifically and this exhaust (sound/performance). After all the questions I had were answered, I now finally have to say:

Your exhaust rocks!! Definitely the best design out there and it absolutely doesn't need x-pipes

I have placed an order for it just now. Can't wait. All the best!

They have not shipped yet. We experienced (again) a delay with the tips not being ready until today, so they are being finished with assembly now and we're hoping to ship everything within the next couple of days. My apologies for the delay, once again. I'm hoping pretty soon here we'll be all caught up with back orders and will have stuff ready to ship on a days notice.
