I'm not sure if it is still adrenalin in my bloodstream, or the remnants of that german coffee, but I am still absolutely buzzing, and chewing the ears off anyone who'll listen!!

I've got a whole lot more respect for the 130i now as my last 2 laps in it were simply magical!

I also really enjoyed the company too - I have never really been a hardcore 'forum type' and admit to be a little sceptical about how well people might get on face to face rather than from behind a keyboard, but the trip has restored my faith in human nature somewhat as everyone got on exceptionally well, despite all being from different walks of life.

It's a pity family and business commitments means I am unlikely to get back there again this year as although I have done dozens of UK track days in the past, they are much much harder on the car, and now I have experienced the ring, have very little appeal!

Roll on 2010!

Don't think either of the two pics are Hoop's E92 M3 - Pretty sure he has the Cf mirror covers fitted and both of those cars have white wing mirrors?

Looks like a top time was had by all and look forward to seeing some pics

Pleased Palmball got the M6 back safely

Thanks, Tim. It seemed like the only time the camera would give a full picture was during the times the track was closed.

I think I found one of my car on the 16th at 1451. The color's right, the bonnet appears to be the LCI bonnet, and the sunroof is open. I can't discern the yellow mark on the windscreen, though. Any opinions?

Really...I should have listened! I managed to get the car into a 150mph slide on the fast mid-section part...I must of had it on opposite lock for about 300 yards...then it went on the grass. How I avoided the barrier and got back on the track I really don't know but I had Steve's wise words ringing in my ears for some time after that!
Andy was a very luck boy and by the sounds of it will be listening to some well founded advice in the future. He lost the back end of his M6 on the entrance / exit of schwedenkruez (I think that’s what it’s called) sideways at a 90 degree angle all the way down the straight into aremburg coming to a rest on the grass about a foot and a half from the barrier I think both his passenger and drives seat are now a different colour

Awesome trip though, nice to meet the few of you i did briefly

That white speck could be Tony's helmet. He may have taken it off while we waited.

I wonder if that is a particularly slippery section in places as BMWBailey and I had an 'oh cr4p' moment when an RS4 passed us on the inside just before Aremburg and got a real tank slapper on!

That particular section has a little bump as the track goes over the bridge which unsettles the car a little (or a lot if you're doing 140mph +)!

In my case and on that particular occasion (not helped by a slipperier track on Sunday morning) I think I spent too long recovering from the little 'wiggle' that the bump caused which then made me enter the long downhill left-hander too quickly.
