lol the exact same thing happened to me but luckily i realized on time...it's a tough installation but the result is truly awesome!!

By the way, i have left the wires and heatsink (?) lose...is there a way to tidy them up or is it going to cause any trouble if we leave them untidy on top (to rear) of the headlamp?

Shouldn't cause any issues, but MDS may chime in and suggest something to do with them. Thanks for your business!

You dont need to worry about tucking the wires away. Just try and keep the power supply away from the aluminum heat sink and you'll be fine

I got my H8 before Christmas But after opening the box, I just see the 2 LUX H8 bulbs. I don't see any wires mentioned in this document: https://www.namotorsports.net/docs/MDSLUXH8.pdf . Do I just plug those 2 in where the original bulbs are? Does it matter if it's left or right side?

Thanks,
Sam

I just put those in and they looked great! My hand actually fit into the light casing after some push.

Have you guys tried the Hoen Xenonmatch bulbs before the Lux? I couldn't decide between the two and decided to give Hoen a try before I bring out the bank on these. Will I be regretting my purchase?

Thank you for the order! Those instructions you were referencing were for the first version with the wiring harness. The harness is no longer needed and we have new instructions below. Any other questions, just let us know!

Right now we just sold out of the last LUX H8 we had in stock. I'm working on getting an ETA for when we will have more. The price is $224.99 plus $10 shipping anywhere in the U.S.

Has there been any issues with wires contacting the power supply or heat sink melting? I don't want all the wires to melt in my headlight =T

I recomend trying to keep the power supply away from the heatsink, however it will not damage it in any way

yea...I don't even know if the LEDs will fit because they're putting new headlights in the 2011 and 2012 3's. I'm not feeling the new eyebrows though...which kinda make me happy I bought my 2010 at invoice :P
