Seafoam is totally useless. That smoke you see coming out of the exhausts on the demo videos is nothing else but the actual fluid burning, not the carbon buildup.

You want your intake valves cleaned? This is what the BMW dealerships do:

1. Remove intake manifold.
2. Manually rotate engine by hand till the 1-2 valves are exposed.
3. Clean exposed valves with BMW fuel injector cleaner and toothbrush
4. Repeat on all valves.

The AUDI engines are much worse than ours. The S4 guys just have their engine heads rebuild every 30K miles....

Sorry, but the only decent VW shop around here that I know is dubwerks. Rich is pretty awesome and they definitely know their stuff.

That being said, I did all the work on my former VW. Not once the car was in the shop for the 7 years I owned it.

So, STFU

Oooh definitely. It's hard to explain online. Perhaps once we have a few drinks, I could attempt to explain the meaning of it...

That's good to know. My 335 has a ski bag but there is no way I am using it. I am thinking this season I'll get some ski equipment for which I'll definitely need a good carrier system...

I think I'm gonna modify it actually since the bases are about 12x12 but the suction device is maybe 4" diameter...the racking system takes up more than this but there is excess base device that doesn't really do much...this is probably less of an issue on a flatter roof the sedans have

only reason i asked is cuz I have a buddy with a golf who needs a few suspension repairs done and thinks dealer is over charging. I'd send him to A&L but I figured VS is a better place to go to for that kind of work (alignment and all that).

MK4, MK5?

I've replaced every single suspension component on my MK4 Jetta. With proper tools and help it is doable over a weekend.

What kind of work does he need? I know dubwerks charge $95.00 per hour, but these guys breathe VW/AUDI

May hit you up for some help on this in the future. Thanks! Will look into Umbra after I decide which tint to go with

based on my 335, which I didn't get it on, I would get it. This car has less windows though, so we'll see how it goes. This tint didn't cost me anything though so it's not like I have to consider it a sunk cost or anything
