Hi! There's no flights to St Petersburg from my city, would need to go to Helsinki for that (2,5 hours by bus directly to the airport) or take the train. Flight from Helsinki to St Petersburg takes only about 2 hours or less, and train is something like 7 hours.

Never been there myself... Finland has border with 3 countries and I've only visited one of them

You need a visa to Russia. I would suggest one of the EU countries instead, like Sweden... Actually taking a ferry boat to Stockholm would be fun, a full night of partying on the boat and then sightseeing in the city, and another party night coming back!

Omg these ppl r pissin me off I just called at&t but we couldent figure anything out and I'm not paying 175 for a cancelation fee lol so I think I'm gunna call my dad and piss him off lol

lana if im not mistaken you might need to get a visa from the russian consulate here in the US to go to Russia since you do have a US passport. But I might be wrong and you can get it in Finland

when i visited brazil I needed to get a visa in NY and when i visited russia I needed to get a visa in NY as well. But you can call the russian consulate and ask them if you can get one in finland. But if finland doesnt require one from russia and russia doesnt require one from finland you might as well get in NYC. Oh and if you do decide to go to russia I can give you my ruskie travel agent that will get you your tickets and visa's.

being that its not at the closest airport, its gonna eat up too much time traveling so its not gonna happen

Well I know for sure I wont be able to go to Russia without a visa that I have applied beforehand...

I will be in Finland for work Oct 22 on until Oct 29. I could add a few days of vacation in the end there and stay until Monday Nov 3. That is the halloween weekend though, I think. The other option would be to go there early, like Friday Oct 17.

And these are not final dates anyway, just something my boss through out in the air a few months ago.
