Yeah, I'm always down to go to Newport Seafood. I heard they have one in SGV but I haven't been, but I hear the one in OC is better.

When Alaskan Live King Crab is in Season it is around 24.99/lb. Wholesale is around $20/lb so it's not a bad price for cooked.

NS claim to fame is their Live Maine Lobsters but you can get that year around at $9-13.99/lb. depending on the season.

They are also known for their Hot Sour Soup. I'm not that big on Soup though. One thing I would order is the Bo Luc Lac aka French Style Beef. Which is basically diced Filet Mignon meat which is cut in cubes.

Dunno, every route I tried to take before has traffic. At that time, I think all the routes have traffic. I took the 405 > 605 last time, wasn't too bad since I had a carpool partner. BBB will be with me so maybe.

i take 57 --> 210 every time. i tried all the routes and found this to be the fastest. But then you will be rolling with traffic not against it at that time.

I usually try to avoid that piece of 5 between 91 and 605 (norwalk

210 will be fine. 57 will be really really bad all the way until you hit the 60, then it will be WORSE for like 1 mile, then it'll be open.

why so early though? you have to go to long's or something?
if you take off at 6 you can make it in less than an hour.

btw john.. when i started my car this morning it sounded choppy for like 10 or 20 seconds then it sounded normal again.
