Post winter storm cleaning. They dumped shit tons of salt and sand on the roads. The sand got super packed into all the little crevasses around the brakes and suspension. I was really happy with the way this car handled the snow and ice.

So after receiving some advice here and looking through tons of pictures of e92 angel eyes, I decided to buy halogens because the LEDs don't seem to light up both rings anywhere near as evenly as the halogens do which is understandable given that's probably very dependent on the positioning of the led on the light, which won't be catered to e92 rings by the manufacturer.

Either way I bought these $12 ones on Amazon they're supposedly 5000k light but they turned out to be the same color as the stock e92 lights.. (look whiter in pics which is great )

And my inner trunk lights began working again which makes the car look awesome imo.

Indeed is a Forester. I have a real love/hate relationship with it so far.

Forester never came with flat 6, just an NA 2.5 F4 or a turbo F4. This one is NA and so down on power with only 170hp....plus a shitty CVT. It handles great on the roads and even keeps up off road with my buddy in his silverado 4x4 with MT tires. But any time I do moderate off roading, the damn this needs an alignment. But speaking of flat engines, I do have another Subaru with a 3.3L Flat 6

I believe the Forester XT does, the NA one "shifts" as you drive. I have no clue why, it's pointless and I called out the salesmen at the dealer when he was telling us about it. Other than all that though, it's a good car.

Could this be early signs of failing OFHG? N55 engine. Last oil change 4 months ago with 700 miles. The car is driven maybe once per week to bring up to operating temperature. There are no noticeable oil leaks on or around the oil filter housing. The coolant in the reservoir is blue and looks healthy - not milk chocolate. What's going on here?

How long is that once a week drive? Does it go away after a healthy Italian tune up?

Maybe 30 miles or so. Half of that time the car is coming up to operating temperature, then the other 15 miles I push the car a little harder to 4-5k rpm on a few take offs from a stop but nothing crazy. I don't open the oil cap often enough to monitor this - just happened to be in there today and noticed the build up.
