Ok, fitment is about 95%. Slight bulge around door hinge area (bolts issue?) and a couple mm short at the front is the main thing. My right side had a slight curve at the rear top corner which didn't align with the fender, but I jammed some tape behind it to hold it out. I had to dremel most the holes on the right side but left was good except for two holes. Photos to come within the next couple days.
All up, unless you are looking for faults, they look very very good to an untrained eye. There are a couple other things I would improve, but that is getting very picky. Install was a PITA but I would still recommend these to anyone considering purchase. |

Here's a couple with my point and shoot canon.
Finally washed the car late this evening so keen to check the colour match tomorrow in the sun. The fit is pretty good and also love the new wheels ![]() |

Got my car to my body shop today to finally get these skirts installed after 4 months of trying to get them delivered (paid for them back in April). Shop told me, no way they will fit. 1 inch short on the front and 1 1/2 inch short on the back in width. I can drive down the road with either the top clips in and bottoms undone or visa versa. The front to back length on the skirts were good at least and paint looked great (black sapphire metallic). Left PM for Frank asking what M-Force Design plans to do for me now seeing as these were version 3 side skirts and Frank stated -
Quote- E92 M3 side skirts: $570 Shipped UPDATE: ETA for Version3: 12~14 days. If the new skirts does not fit right, or the installation is not as straight forward as OEM skirts, PAT WILL EAT THE SKIRTS ALL Best regards, Frank -End quote Was considering a rear spoiler and some CF parts from MFD but now not so sure. Sort of wish I had just paid my body shop to modify OEM BMW M3 skirts to fit now. Will update thread if and when I get a reply from MFD.

That's because you have to redrill some of the holes in the skirt. Get a dremel and do the install yourself |

Mine didn't fit either, and they're working now to fix it. Have faith.

Body shop told me there was not enough material to re-drill or extend the wholes because part is actually not wide enough by the 1 inch in front and 1 1/2 at the back. I am not any good at all with this stuff and that is why when MFD stated it was simple OEM style replacement I figured I was safe buying them, since I was taking them to pro's to install. I will jsut wait and see what MFD replies with. Just takes a while sometimes before I hear from them when I have PM'd during the last 4 months of this side skirt business.

Fiberglass is definitely not better than PUR, but for what it worth the version 3 material although fiberglass is much better than the version 2 material that they used (which was PUR). Fiberglass is not as flexible as PUR and there is very little play when installing them, but even though if it was PUR or FIB, if there was damage to them both will sustain casualties of war, but the fiberglass ones will sustain more because its more rigid than the PUR...

Heard back from MFD -

Regards, Frank" Here is how I replied Frank, I will get my body shop to take some pic's and measurements for you. Right off hand from them showing me where it was short, the actual amount of space on my skirts from the hole and the side is a lot shorter than the picture you have sent me. Where the hole actually needs to be on my skirts, they run out of material. I will send pic's and measurements as soon as they give me them. By the way what happened to the whole - "E92 M3 side skirts: $570 Shipped UPDATE: ETA for Version3: 12~14 days. If the new skirts does not fit right, or the installation is not as straight forward as OEM skirts, PAT WILL EAT THE SKIRTS ALL Best regards, Frank" You all stated about these 3rd shipment skirts. These 3rd shipment skirts I got, obviously are not "straight forward as OEM skirts" or you wouldn't have me taking up my body shops time to take pictures and measure them. The shop showed me how the OEM stock skirts lay right up a against the car and all the holes line up perfectly with no finagling at all. I will get the pic's and measurements ASAP. Carl
