Anyone here got a compression tester? The more I read, the more likely the problem on my dad's Benz is a faulty head / valve. Fuckin' new Benzs... Pieces of shit.

new benzs? which one is it. my dads 03 s500 been fine so far besides a major computer malfunction that let me stranded on the freeway for 2 hours....

Yeah if he doesn't have one I can probably just go buy one. It comes in useful once in a blue moon, but as the cars we have get older it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to keep it around.

i was thinking of beta link but i dont want it to be permanent...

i need to find a way to increase the surface area that touches the trunk so the tape holds better. right now its like 2-3mm on the edges that touch the trunk.

honestly, even my betalinked trunk lifted ... that down force, so i use bumper glue ... ehhh ... but tape won't hold it for long, since i have a sneaking suspicion that the spoiler is poor fitment
