All fixed. Took 5 mins... The one thing BMW thought of which proved really useful when fixing these things. w00t.

"Anyhow, been leaning towards the BMS Power Box. At the same time, it will take some major patience on my part to pay for it, will install myself (yea...).

Decided to get over my fear of modding the BMW engine/ecu. Car is out of warranty but that to me is also part of the problem. OVER it.

(praying)

Decided the auto-dim/compass rear view mirror (BTW w/cable cost close to the BMS PB) can take a back seat for a while.

Thoughts please guys?

Actually I kid (kinda) I am somewhat handy with some wrenching although I did not install on my car the m-kit and the koni dampers/springs (oh and alarm, it came w/ the car.

Still a wanna be though

Haha, no worries. I didn't know much about swapping an engine before doing it in the E30, but that worked out ok. That powerbox install shouldn't give you much trouble.

Got some stuff done on the E30 today.
-ICV tested. Works ok.
-Brake light switch was rusted inside and sticking. A little WD-40 and a lot of button presses later, good to go.
-Fixed gas door lock actuator. Terminals were corroded.
-Fixed trunk lock actuator. Actuator lever was completely off. I can actually unlock/lock the car through the trunk now.
-Replaced aux fan fuse. Fan circuits tested ok. Still not sure why the fuse blew again.
-Turned my stereo on for the first time. The setup isn't half bad.
