I am looking for OEM rubber all weather mats, not the one with carpet in the middle. I am confused, as I can not find them anywhere; where do you get yours and what kind do you recommend for all year around, keeping in mind our winter...

I may have an extra set of the full rubber, front only. I used plush carpet in the summer and weathertech digital fits in the winter, so I have unused front only.

They're also available at the dealer of course, call Bob in Parts @ Ottos, he'll hook you up.

Does anybody here go to the Otto's BMW for the 3 series launching on March 27, 2012?
I feel awkward going there by myself due to the age disparity...

I used to go the launch parties but got tired of getting snubbed. They hired models to serve drinks from an agency my girlfriend at the time work at, so I was talking to one of them and one of the managers came by and gave her shit, loudly, right in front of me for "bringing her friends in and wasting their money". I look young (though I'm 36) and don't wear a suit, but blimey it doesn't mean I'm not a (well) paying client.

So I'm not likely going.

On the Weathertech floormat: they are good. Not perfect. The main problem is the floor attached gas pedal; the mat can't possible catch everything coming off your boot and running down the pedal. But they're still great. I bought some for my wife's mini too, but they didn't fit as well. It turns out they forgot to give me the clips to secure them and they warped. They shipped me clips the next day after about 3 weeks of me sending them pictures, etc.

Was thinking about going, but I went to the Ottawa Car Show today and spent enough time checking out the new 3 there, probably don't need to repeat that with jerks in suits standing around, haha.

They had one of the new 991 911 Porsches there, but it was locked so I couldn't sit in and pretend drive/make my own flat 6 sounds

I usually pig-out on their FREE alcohol and food and scout any pretty lady unaccompanied by their men with no ring attached.
I just hate being caught up on those socially awkward conversations about kids, what do you do for living, etc.
I definitely not don't wear a suit to this event.
I am definitely not a well paying customer. I nickel-dime for warranty services.

I had Weathertech a very long time ago on my previous car. I bought the ones for the bimmer and I didn't like it all (the quality, the wobbliness,etc.)
I returned them and settled with BMW OEM rubber all weather mat.

Lol i always get my mats for free, once you seal the deal with the salesman as you shake his hand tell him oh yeah btw through in some winter mats. They will never decline, I did that even when I bought a cpo car and they always give them for free.

OK, I can safely say that the personal assistant of the owner is also cute.
We probably need to organize a [non-snubbed] Ottawa meet.

Can't say for sure I'll be able to make it out come meet time but will watch this space.

I'll PM an Ottawa 1M owner when a date is set to see if he could make it out to an E9X meet assuming everyone would be game with that.
